Indore Food Safety Raid Seizes 26 Samples Before Diwali

A joint team from the food safety administration and weighment department raided 11 food outlets in Indore, seizing 26 samples of ghee, oil and mave, and confiscating unverified weighing instruments under the 2006 Act.
A coordinated operation by the food safety administration and the weighment department was carried out in Indore ahead of the Diwali celebrations. The raid targeted 11 food establishments, including popular dairy and sweets shops. During the inspection, 26 samples of ghee, oil and mave were collected for laboratory testing. In addition, unverified weighing instruments were seized, and strict measures were taken under the provisions of the 2006 Act to curb potential food safety violations.
