On Friday morning, the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain was adorned with kumkum, a moon symbol, and bel leaves during the Bhasm Aarti, drawing a large number of devotees.

The Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, was specially adorned on Friday morning during the Bhasm Aarti. The divine idol was decorated with kumkum, a representation of the moon, and bel leaves, marking a significant ritualistic observance for the devotees.

During the ceremony, the deity was also adorned with a silver crown (Rajat Mukut) and a Mundmala. This unique combination of offerings is part of the traditional rituals performed at the temple to honor the presiding deity.

A large number of pilgrims gathered at the temple to witness this divine form and offer their prayers. The atmosphere was filled with the chanting of 'Jai Shri Mahakal' as devotees sought blessings from the Jyotirlinga.

The event highlights the deep spiritual connection between the devotees and the Mahakaleshwar temple, which remains one of the most visited religious sites in India.
