Two sitting AAP MLAs stepped down from the party following the release of the first batch of 40 candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections.
Two members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who are currently serving as legislators in Punjab have resigned from the party. The resignations were announced a day after AAP released the first set of 40 candidates for the upcoming 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. The move comes as the party finalises its electoral strategy for the next legislative term. No official statement from the resigning MLAs explains their reasons for leaving the party at this stage.
