Vishwak Sen's horror film 'Cult' has underperformed at the box office in its first two days, failing to generate significant buzz or revenue.
The horror thriller 'Cult', starring Vishwak Sen, has faced a disappointing start at the box office. Reports indicate that the film failed to cut through the competition in its first two days of release, resulting in lower-than-expected collections.
Industry observers note that the slasher genre often requires strong word-of-mouth to sustain its run, which appears to be lacking for this title. The film's performance suggests a struggle to attract a wide audience despite the star power of the lead actor.
As the weekend progresses, the final verdict on the film's commercial viability will depend on whether it can recover through subsequent showings, though the initial two-day figures paint a challenging picture for the producers.
