In a brazen act of deception, three men impersonated CID officers and robbed a jeweler in Aurangabad, Bihar, of ₹25 lakh worth of gold jewelry. The criminals, who arrived on Maharajganj Road, convinced the jeweler, Rghunandan Saw, that they were conducting a raid and threatened him with penalties if he did not comply. They then forced him to remove 145 grams of gold jewelry and replaced it with a bag filled with stones.
