Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken publicly for the first time since being named the winner of the newly introduced 'Ballon d'Or of All Time', edging out Lionel Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo was announced as the recipient of the inaugural "Ballon d'Or of All Time" award, a distinction that placed him ahead of long‑time rival Lionel Messi. The award, presented by Goal.com, aims to recognise the greatest footballer across all eras.
Following the announcement, Ronaldo broke his silence and addressed the media, thanking fans, teammates and the organizing body for the honor. He refrained from naming specific rivals but acknowledged the competitive spirit that has defined his career.
Analysts view the new accolade as a symbolic milestone rather than an official FIFA or UEFA prize, yet it has sparked widespread discussion among supporters worldwide. Ronaldo's acceptance marks a rare public comment in a period where both superstars have largely let their on‑field performances speak for themselves.
