Rajasthan NCRA Districts Permit Only Green Fireworks on Diwali

Rajasthan’s National Capital Region (NCRA) has announced that on Diwali, only certified green crackers will be permitted in five of its districts. The ban on conventional fireworks will be enforced on 7 and 8 November, the dates traditionally associated with the festival. Authorities have set specific time windows during which the green crackers can be lit, ensuring that celebrations remain within controlled hours. In addition to restricting fireworks, the government will tighten regulations on construction activities, dust generation and vehicle emissions to curb pollution during the festive season.
