Rain Alert Issued for Eight Telangana Districts Today

The state’s meteorological department has announced a rain alert covering eight districts of Telangana for today. Officials say showers are likely to develop across the affected areas during the afternoon and evening hours. Residents have been advised to stay updated with weather bulletins and to exercise caution while traveling, especially on rural roads that may become slippery. Agricultural activities could see a brief respite as the rain may aid irrigation, but authorities warn of possible localized flooding in low‑lying zones. The alert will remain in force until conditions improve, after which a normal weather forecast will be reinstated.
