Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Opposition of conspiring to divide the nation and stalling progress during a Unity Day tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a sharp critique of the Opposition parties during a special Unity Day event held to honor the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister alleged that political rivals are actively obstructing the country's development agenda.
The Prime Minister characterized the Opposition's actions as an "obstructive side" that is stalling progress rather than contributing to national growth. He further accused these groups of engaging in conspiracies aimed at dividing the country, a charge that has become a recurring theme in his political discourse.
The remarks were made in the context of celebrating the unity and integrity of India, values strongly associated with Sardar Patel. By linking the Opposition's political strategies to threats against national unity, the Prime Minister sought to frame the current political landscape as a battle between constructive development and divisive obstruction.
