Police authorities in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, have uncovered a significant illegal narcotics operation in the Bargwan police station area. During a targeted operation, officials seized a substantial quantity of controlled substances from a medical store warehouse.
The seizure included 1,318 bottles of codeine-containing cough syrup and 52,560 narcotic tablets and capsules. Additionally, a motorcycle was confiscated during the crackdown as part of the evidence.
Two individuals were arrested in connection with the incident. The Singrauli police are currently investigating the source of the supply and the network behind this illegal trade.
