All government hospitals in Madhya Pradesh will transition to a paperless system starting November 1, digitizing patient registration, consultations, and billing.
Madhya Pradesh is set to implement a comprehensive paperless system across all government hospitals beginning November 1. This initiative aims to streamline healthcare delivery by eliminating physical paperwork in favor of digital records.
Under the new arrangement, the entire patient journey will be digitized. This includes OPD registration, diagnostic tests, doctor consultations, medicine distribution, and final billing processes. The move is designed to enhance efficiency and reduce administrative delays in public health facilities.
As part of this digital transformation, patients will receive their medical prescriptions and bills directly on their mobile phones. This shift ensures that health records are accessible and reduces the dependency on physical files within hospital premises.
