Microsoft India is offering voluntary buyouts to thousands of employees across various departments. The offer includes severance packages matching up to 39 weeks of pay.
Microsoft has announced a Voluntary Exit Offer for around 60,000 employees globally, including a significant number in India. The offer is open to employees in Xbox, Copilot, and Windows teams, while sales teams are excluded. The deadline for employees to accept the offer is December. The package provides severance pay matching standard company policy, which can run up to 39 weeks of salary. HR head Amy Coleman announced the program in a memo to staff.
