Following a train accident in Madrid, the Indian Embassy has urged citizens to contact them for assistance, providing specific emergency helpline numbers for both the embassy and local railway operators.

The Indian Embassy in Madrid has issued an advisory to Indian nationals following a recent train accident in the Spanish capital. The mission has urged citizens present in the area to reach out to the embassy if they require any form of assistance or support during this time.

To facilitate quick communication, the embassy has shared its dedicated emergency helpline number, +34 650 339 008. Additionally, the official email address, cons.madrid@mea.gov.in, has been provided for those preferring written correspondence.

Recognizing that many travelers may be stranded or seeking immediate logistical help, the embassy has also listed the customer service numbers for the two major railway operators involved in the incident. Citizens can contact Renfe at 900 10 10 20 and Iryo at 900 001 403 for updates on schedules and assistance.

The Ministry of External Affairs continues to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety and well-being of Indian citizens in Spain.
