Sleeper buses will be barred from entering Jaipur between November 3 and 9 to manage Diwali traffic. Passengers will need to use four external stands, adding roughly 20 km to their journey.

The Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation has announced a temporary ban on sleeper buses entering the city of Jaipur to mitigate anticipated traffic congestion during the Diwali festival. The restriction will remain in effect from November 3 to November 9, covering the peak travel period associated with the holiday.

To ensure connectivity, buses operating on the Delhi-Agra, Ajmer, Tonk, and Sikar routes will be diverted to four external bus stands located outside the city limits. This measure aims to keep the central city accessible for local residents and essential services during the festive season.

Travelers are advised that this diversion will result in an additional travel distance of approximately 20 kilometers. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for reaching their final destinations within the city.
