Jailer 2 Day 20 Box Office: Rajinikanth Nears Vijay’s Record

Jailer 2, the Tamil action‑thriller starring Rajinikanth, reported its day‑20 box office collections today, according to industry trackers. The figures place the film just a few crores shy of Vijay’s blockbuster The Greatest of A, which set a new benchmark for Tamil cinema last year. "The film’s performance is a testament to Rajinikanth’s enduring appeal," said a senior box‑office analyst. "If the current trajectory continues, Jailer 2 could surpass the record in the coming weeks." The sequel, released in late 2023, has already crossed the 200‑crore mark worldwide, with a strong domestic run in multiplexes and single‑screen theatres alike. Fans and critics alike have praised the film’s high‑octane action sequences and Rajinikanth’s charismatic presence.
