Four workers died of suffocation while cleaning a waste chamber at a hotel in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav pledged Rs 4 lakh for each bereaved family.

A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh when four workers lost their lives due to suffocation while cleaning a waste chamber inside a hotel. The victims were reportedly engaged in routine maintenance when the confined space became hazardous, leading to the fatal outcome.

State authorities arrived at the scene promptly and confirmed the deaths. Preliminary investigations suggest a lack of adequate ventilation and safety measures contributed to the incident.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, a native of Ujjain, expressed his condolences and announced a financial assistance package of Rs 4 lakh for each of the deceased workers' families. The compensation aims to provide immediate relief to the bereaved households.

The government has directed relevant departments to review safety protocols in similar confined work environments to prevent future tragedies.
