Bikaner Seizes 28,000 kg Contaminated Flour, 400 kg Moldy Mawa Destroyed

In a crackdown on food safety, authorities in Bikaner seized 28,000 kg of contaminated flour and destroyed 400 kg of moldy Mawa, along with other spoiled sweets and dry fruits.
A central team from Jaipur conducted a food safety inspection in Bikaner, where it seized 28,000 kg of flour suspected of contamination.
The team also found 400 kg of moldy Mawa, rotten dry fruits, bad Gulab Jamun and other food items, which were destroyed on the spot.
The seizure is part of ongoing efforts to curb food adulteration and protect consumers. Officials warned that the contaminated flour could pose health risks.
The seized goods will be disposed of in accordance with regulations, and authorities will investigate the source of the contamination.
