Food safety officials in Bihar raided Pawan Biryani in Kachhari Dala and found the outlet operating without a valid license or proper hygiene standards. The inspection, part of a pre‑festival crackdown, highlighted serious regulatory lapses.

On Sunday, the Bihar Food Safety Department carried out a raid on Pawan Biryani, a popular eatery in Kachhari Dala. Inspectors discovered that the restaurant was operating without a valid food license and failed to meet basic hygiene requirements. The absence of proper sanitation facilities and the lack of a license were among the key violations noted during the inspection.

The raid was part of a broader initiative launched before the Diwali and Chhath festivals to curb food adulteration and ensure compliance with safety standards. Authorities have warned that establishments found violating regulations may face penalties or closure.

Pawan Biryani’s owners have not yet released a statement regarding the findings. The Food Safety Department has indicated that further investigations will be conducted to assess the extent of the violations and to determine appropriate action.
