Bhopal police will enforce special traffic rules and one-way systems at six major markets from November 4 to 9 to manage Diwali shopping crowds.
The Bhopal traffic police have announced a special deployment plan to manage the anticipated surge in vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the Diwali shopping season. The measures will be in effect from November 4 to November 9, covering six major markets in the city.
To ensure smooth movement and safety, entry for certain vehicles will be restricted in the Old City area if crowd density increases. Additionally, a one-way traffic system will be enforced at the 10 Number Market to prevent congestion.
Authorities have advised shoppers to be aware of these temporary traffic arrangements before heading out. The plan aims to facilitate easier access for pedestrians while maintaining order in the high-traffic commercial zones.
