Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star Stephen Curry, has drawn criticism on social media after launching a new venture, with some netizens using the phrase “She can’t stand him.”
International basketball star Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, has become the focus of a heated online debate after unveiling a new professional undertaking. The project, details of which have not been disclosed, prompted a wave of negative comments from social media users, some of whom quoted the line “She can’t stand him.”
The criticism appears to stem from perceptions that the new work clashes with the public image of the Curry family, though no official statements have been released by either Ayesha or Stephen Curry regarding the controversy. Observers note that the backlash reflects broader scrutiny faced by celebrity spouses when they branch into new ventures.
Despite the uproar, Ayesha Curry’s team has not commented on the specific grievances, and the couple’s representatives have remained silent on the matter. The episode underscores the challenges public figures encounter when expanding their personal brands beyond their established domains.
