Akasa Air has announced a salary increase of up to 20% for its pilots and will raise the minimum annual leave entitlement to 42 days.

Akasa Air, the Indian low‑cost carrier, has announced a salary increase for its pilots, effective from the next fiscal year.

The airline said the hike could be as high as 20% for pilots, depending on experience and seniority, marking a significant boost to the industry’s pay scales.

In addition, Akasa Air will raise the minimum annual leave entitlement for its staff to 42 days, up from the current 30 days.
