A young man who went into the forest in Gohparu, Shahdol, to graze livestock was killed by a tiger. His body was found the next day, sparking anger among locals against the Forest Department.

A tragic man-animal conflict incident occurred in Gohparu, Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, where a young man was killed by a tiger. The victim had gone into the forest to graze his livestock when the fatal attack took place.

After the young man failed to return home, a search was initiated. His body was discovered inside the forest on the second day, confirming the cause of death as a tiger attack.

The incident has triggered a strong reaction from the local community. Villagers have expressed their anger towards the Forest Department, alleging that the authorities were aware of the tiger's presence in the area but failed to provide adequate warnings to the residents.

Locals have further accused the department of negligence, stating that sufficient patrolling was not conducted to prevent such incidents. The demand for stricter enforcement and better protection measures for those working near forest boundaries is now being raised.
