During a contempt petition, Minder Gurmit Singh Thukral tried to throw her purse at the judge after an eviction order against her and her children was upheld. She restrained herself, apologized, and the court deemed her conduct contemptuous.

In a contempt proceeding at the Bombay High Court, Minder Gurmit Singh Thukral, who had previously been ordered to vacate a property, returned to the premises after the eviction order was issued. The court had ruled against her and her children in the eviction case.

During the hearing, Thukral reacted angrily to the judge’s decision. She attempted to throw her purse at the bench, but was stopped by court staff. She subsequently restrained herself, apologized to the judge and the court.

The High Court declared her conduct as contempt of court. The case is part of the ongoing proceedings related to the eviction order, and the court has noted the incident in its contempt petition filings.

No further action has been announced, but the court has emphasized that such behavior will not be tolerated in its chambers.
