Repolling has commenced in 15 polling booths across West Bengal starting at 7 AM today to ensure accurate electoral results.
Repolling operations have officially begun in West Bengal, with voting resuming in 15 specific polling booths starting at 7 AM today. The move aims to address procedural irregularities or discrepancies identified in the initial voting process at these locations.
Electoral officials have deployed additional staff to oversee the re-polling process, ensuring that the exercise is conducted in a transparent and orderly manner. Security forces are also present at the sites to maintain law and order.
The decision to re-poll in these 15 booths is part of the Election Commission's mandate to uphold the integrity of the democratic process. Voters in these specific constituencies are being asked to cast their votes again to finalize the count.
The re-polling is expected to conclude by the end of the day, after which the results from these booths will be aggregated with the rest of the constituency's data.
