The U.S. Embassy in Moscow released a statement on Saturday, stating that it was aware of a credible threat to conduct a mass casualty event at the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve in the capital.

The embassy did not disclose details about the source of the threat or the identity of any potential perpetrators. It emphasized that Russian authorities were being kept fully informed and that appropriate security measures were being coordinated.

The Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve, a historic park and cultural site, has been a target of concern in recent months amid heightened security alerts in Moscow. The U.S. statement underscores the seriousness of the threat and the need for vigilance.
