The Government of Tripura has confirmed the successful disbursement of the 24th installment of the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. According to Minister Ratan Lal Nath, a total of Rs 44.24 crore has been transferred directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers in the state.
The minister stated that this financial assistance has reached 2.21 lakh farmers across Tripura. The direct benefit transfer mechanism ensures that the funds are credited without any intermediary delays, supporting the agricultural livelihoods of the state's farming community.
This installment continues the central government's commitment to providing income support to small and marginal farmers. The timely release of these funds is intended to help farmers meet their seasonal agricultural expenses and maintain their financial stability.
