Tripura Postpones Voter Enrollment Drive Amidst Local Polls

The voter enrollment process in Tripura has been delayed to prevent scheduling conflicts with the upcoming urban local body elections. The original plan was to conduct the enrollment drive from November 6th to December 5th, involving the distribution of pre-filled enumeration forms, assistance to electors in completing them, and the collection of the completed forms. However, the Election Commission of India has decided to postpone the process to ensure a smooth and unhindered electoral process for both events.
