The Tripura District Council has scheduled the oath-taking ceremony for newly elected Village Committee members to begin on November 11.
The Tripura District Council has officially announced that it will administer oaths to the newly elected Village Committee members starting from November 11. This procedural step marks the formal induction of the new local leadership into their respective roles.
The event signifies the completion of the electoral process at the village level, allowing the new members to assume their constitutional responsibilities. The administration of oaths is a mandatory legal requirement before any elected representative can officially perform their duties.
Local authorities have coordinated the schedule to ensure a smooth transition of power. The ceremony will serve as a public confirmation of the democratic mandate received by these new members.
