Tripura CM Dismisses Congress Alliance Rally, Emphasizes Performance Over Politics

The Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, publicly downplayed a rally organized by the Indian National Congress alliance, suggesting that voters will focus on performance rather than party rhetoric. In a statement released after the event, Deb emphasized that the electorate’s primary concern is the delivery of public services and tangible results. The CM’s remarks come ahead of the upcoming local body elections, where the performance of incumbents is expected to play a decisive role. While the Congress alliance has been rallying supporters, the CM’s comments signal a shift toward a performance‑based electoral narrative in the state.
