SAD Promises Cheaper Solar Power for Punjab Industries

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced its intention to establish a new department called 'Build Punjab' focused on industrial development. A key initiative within this department will be to allow industrialists to install their own solar power plants on their premises. According to SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, this move will significantly reduce power costs for industries, bringing rates down to ₹1.50 per unit. The party believes this will boost industrial growth and create new employment opportunities in Punjab.
