Record Maize Arrivals Overwhelm Barana Mandi

The Barana Agricultural Produce Market in Rajasthan has been inundated with a record amount of maize, causing logistical challenges. Over 250,000 bundles of maize arrived at the market on Tuesday, leaving storage sheds, platforms, and roads overflowing with produce. This unprecedented influx has strained the market's capacity to handle the volume of maize. Farmers have been facing difficulties in unloading and selling their produce due to the congestion.
