The Rajasthan High Court has given the state government a final five-week deadline to take concrete steps towards implementing a new litigation policy. Failure to comply could result in top officials being summoned.

The Rajasthan High Court has issued a stern directive to the state government regarding the implementation of a new litigation policy. The court has granted the administration a final period of five weeks to demonstrate tangible progress on the matter.

During the hearing, the bench emphasized the urgency of the situation. The court warned that if significant actions are not taken within the stipulated timeframe, senior officials will be held accountable.

Specifically, the court indicated that the Chief Secretary, Principal Law Secretary, and Finance Secretary may be required to appear in person. They would have to personally explain the reasons for any delays in the policy's execution.
