Under the RIPS 2019 scheme, the Rajasthan government awarded a ₹115 crore investment package to Goyal Fashions Private Limited for developing a hotel‑resort project in Alwar’s Ajbargad.
The Rajasthan government has approved a ₹115 crore investment package for Goyal Fashions Private Limited under the state’s RIPS 2019 scheme. The package is earmarked for a hotel‑resort development project in Ajbargad, Alwar.
The decision follows the purchase of 20 villas by the family of IAS officer Shikhar Agrawal at the Ananta Resort in the same area. Goyal Fashions, the builder of those villas, is now set to receive the funding to expand its resort operations.
RIPS 2019, a flagship investment promotion plan, aims to attract private capital into tourism and hospitality projects across Rajasthan. The ₹115 crore package will support infrastructure development, marketing, and operational setup for the new resort.
The government’s move is part of a broader effort to boost tourism in the Alwar district, which has seen a rise in visitor numbers in recent years.
