The move comes as the ACBC probes allegations that Agrawal purchased 40 villas and cottages, allegedly giving preferential treatment to a private company.
Officials said the appointments were made in accordance with state rules and that no conflict of interest has been identified. The ACBC continues its investigation into the alleged irregularities.
The decision has drawn criticism from opposition parties, who argue that the appointments may undermine the integrity of the investigation.
