A female police officer celebrated her birthday on a Maharashtra flyover that was the site of a fatal accident killing four men, sparking public outrage.
A woman police officer chose a flyover in Maharashtra – the very site of a recent road accident that claimed the lives of four men – as the venue for her birthday celebration. The incident quickly drew attention after photographs of the event surfaced on social media.
Netizens condemned the officer’s decision, calling it insensitive and disrespectful to the victims’ families. Critics argued that a public servant should not appear to celebrate personal milestones at a location associated with tragedy.
Police officials have not released an official statement regarding the incident, and inquiries are reportedly underway to determine whether any disciplinary action will be taken.
