Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre in Gujarat on Friday, where he unveiled a slate of development projects totaling more than Rs 14,000 crore.
The projects focus on strengthening the dairy sector, expanding state roads and enhancing the Ahmedabad metro network. Modi also announced new initiatives aimed at improving childcare facilities across the state.
In addition to the infrastructure plans, the Prime Minister released the latest installment of the PM‑KISAN scheme, which will benefit farmers with a total of Rs 19,000 crore.
The visit was part of a broader campaign to showcase the government's commitment to rural development and agricultural productivity in Gujarat.
