Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, transferring over ₹18,690 crore to more than 9.34 crore farmers across India, with Bihar receiving ₹1,476 crore for 73 lakh families.
The 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. The government transferred more than ₹18,690 crore to the bank accounts of over 9.34 crore farmers nationwide. In the state of Bihar, the scheme benefited 73 lakh families, who received a total of ₹1,476 crore. The scheme, launched in 2019, aims to provide financial support to marginal and small farmers.
