Patiala police has successfully busted an illegal arms module, leading to the arrest of three suspects involved in the illicit trade of weapons. The operation highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to curb the flow of unauthorized firearms in the region.
Among the arrested individuals is a known associate of the Bambihara gang, indicating a link between local criminal networks and the supply chain of illegal arms. Police sources indicate that the weapons seized during the raid were procured from Madhya Pradesh, suggesting a cross-state network involved in the distribution of these items.
The crackdown is part of broader security measures aimed at disrupting criminal activities and ensuring public safety. The seized contraband is now in police custody, and further investigations are underway to identify other potential members of the network and trace the full extent of their operations.
