Patiala Allows Fireworks from 8-10 PM on Diwali

The decision follows a review of last year’s incidents and aims to reduce crowding in public spaces during peak hours. Fireworks will be allowed only in designated areas, and vendors are required to display safety certificates and adhere to noise‑level restrictions. The city has also deployed additional police and fire‑rescue teams to monitor compliance and respond to emergencies.
