The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has been tasked with building the world's largest statue of Maharana Pratap at the historic Haldighati site in Rajasthan.
The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) is set to undertake the construction of the world's largest statue dedicated to Maharana Pratap. The monumental structure will be erected at Haldighati, a historically significant location in Rajasthan known for the 1576 battle where the Rajput ruler defeated the Mughal Empire.
This project aims to honor the legacy of Maharana Pratap, a revered figure in Indian history, by creating a landmark that reflects his stature and the cultural heritage of the region. The selection of Haldighati underscores the symbolic importance of the site in preserving the memory of the Rajput resistance.
As a central public sector undertaking, NBCC is responsible for executing this large-scale infrastructure and cultural project. The initiative is expected to become a major attraction, drawing attention to the historical significance of the area while showcasing modern construction capabilities.
