Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a 2% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees and pensioners, to be paid in cash along with the October salary in November.

Earlier this week, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a 2% hike in Dearness Allowance for all state government employees and pensioners.

The increase is aimed at easing the cost of living for public servants and retirees, and will be reflected in the October salary package.

The new DA will be disbursed in cash along with the October salary, with the payment scheduled for November.

The decision is part of the state government's broader effort to improve welfare benefits for its workforce.
