Landfall Imminent: Cyclone to Weaken Over UP

Cyclone Arnab is currently progressing towards the northwest and is predicted to make landfall in that direction. After landfall, the cyclone is expected to weaken as it moves across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. The cyclone's path is projected to eventually reach the Lucknow-Gorakhpur region of Uttar Pradesh, where its intensity will further decrease. Heavy rainfall is anticipated to accompany the cyclone's passage.
