Rajasthan women observing Karva Chauth 2026 will break their fast after seeing the moon and offering arghya. The state has released city‑wise moon rise times to guide devotees.
The Rajasthan government has published a schedule of moon rise times for the night of Karva Chauth 2026, helping devotees plan their fasts. The list covers major cities such as Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Ajmer, indicating the exact moment the moon will become visible in each location.
According to the schedule, women who observe the fast will break it only after the moon is sighted and after offering arghya to the deity. The timing of the moon’s appearance varies across the state, so the official list is intended to prevent confusion and ensure that the fast is observed correctly.
The release of the moon‑rise timetable was reported by Amar Ujala and is expected to be widely used by religious leaders and families preparing for the observance. The schedule is available online and in print, allowing devotees to check the precise time for their city.
While the exact date of Karva Chauth 2026 is not specified in the release, the timetable covers the night of the festival, ensuring that all participants can observe the fast in accordance with tradition.
