Karnataka Eyes Official Status for Kannada Flag

The Karnataka government has announced that it is considering giving official status to the Kannada flag. This step would formalise the flag's role in state functions and public events. The proposal is part of a broader effort to promote Karnataka's cultural heritage, with officials noting that the flag, which features the state's emblem, has been used in various ceremonies. No final decision has been made yet; the government will likely seek public opinion and consult relevant authorities before proceeding.
