A delegation of Jharkhand Congress ministers and party workers travelled to Delhi ahead of the anti‑SIR rally scheduled for November 1.
Jharkhand's Congress leadership, accompanied by party workers, left for the national capital on a scheduled trip to join preparations for an anti‑SIR rally slated for 1 November. The group arrived in Delhi ahead of the planned demonstration, signalling the party's intent to mobilise support at the national level.
The rally is being organised to protest the SIR scheme, which the Congress has criticised as detrimental to the state's interests. By moving the delegation to Delhi, the party aims to coordinate with central allies and amplify its message before the event.
The move underscores the political focus on the upcoming rally, with the Congress seeking to highlight its opposition to the policy ahead of the November 1 demonstration.
