Karnataka minister M.B. Patil confirmed that Honda will not relocate its operations out of the state, dispelling rumors of a potential exit.

Karnataka’s Minister of Industries, M.B. Patil, addressed the media on Thursday, stating that Honda Motor Co. has no intention of moving its operations out of the state.
The statement came amid circulating reports that the automaker might be looking to relocate its manufacturing facilities.
Patil emphasized that Honda’s existing plants in Karnataka continue to contribute significantly to the state’s economy, providing employment to thousands of workers.
He added that the company remains committed to expanding its production capacity in the region.
The minister’s remarks aim to quell concerns among local businesses and workers about potential job losses.
