Gujarat Finishes 497 AMRUT 2.0 Projects, Boosting Urban Infrastructure

The Gujarat government announced the completion of 497 projects under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, aimed at improving water supply, sewerage and urban transport across the state.
Gujarat has announced that all 497 projects under the second phase of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) have been completed.
The projects, covering upgrades to water supply, sewerage networks and urban transport, were implemented across 30 municipal corporations and 150 municipalities in the state.
State officials said the completion will enhance basic services for an estimated 10 million urban residents and contribute to Gujarat's economic growth.
The government will now monitor the operational performance of the new infrastructure and integrate it with ongoing smart‑city initiatives.
