Police in Bundi district have filed a collective rape case against four suspects who allegedly took a minor away from a fair on Oct 27 under false pretenses.
Bundi district police in Rajasthan have opened a criminal case alleging collective rape of a minor. According to the FIR, the victim, a girl under the age of 18, attended a local fair on the night of October 27. Authorities said the case is being pursued under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and a medical examination of the victim has been ordered to corroborate the allegations. The police have also informed the victim's family and are providing necessary support.
The incident has sparked concern among local residents, prompting calls for heightened security at public gatherings and stricter monitoring of minors at fairs and other community events.
