Viewers say SRK's new 'King' track evokes scenes from the yet‑unreleased Pathaan footage, sparking mixed reactions online.
Shah Rukh Khan's latest musical number, titled "King," was released as part of the promotion for his upcoming film. Within hours of its debut, social media users began posting side‑by‑side comparisons, claiming the choreography and visual style echo unreleased footage from his 2023 blockbuster Pathaan.
Fans highlighted specific frames – such as the high‑octane stunt sequences and the colour palette – that they felt mirrored the yet‑to‑be‑seen Pathaan scenes. Some commenters praised the nostalgic nod, while others argued the similarity detracts from the new song’s originality.
The online discourse remains divided, with no official statement from the film’s makers or Khan’s team. The conversation underscores the high expectations surrounding SRK’s projects, where any new release is instantly measured against his recent successes.
Overall, the "King" song has generated considerable buzz, but the mixed sentiment reflects a fan base eager for fresh content yet quick to draw parallels with past hits.
