A team from the Election Commission of India, including Maneesh Garg, has visited Manipur to assess and review the preparations for upcoming elections.
An Election Commission of India (ECI) delegation, featuring senior official Maneesh Garg, recently undertook a visit to the state of Manipur. The primary objective of this visit was to conduct a comprehensive review of the preparedness for the forthcoming elections.
The team engaged in discussions and assessments related to the logistical and administrative arrangements necessary for the smooth conduct of the electoral process in Manipur. This review is a standard procedure undertaken by the ECI to ensure all aspects are in order before elections are held.
Further details regarding specific outcomes or directives from the ECI team's review are awaited, but the visit underscores the commission's commitment to overseeing election readiness in the state.
